RAWALPINDI: Police have registered a case against a 7th class student of a private girls’ school and her parents for allegedly attacking the school administrator and threatening her.

Police said a knife and some sort of liquid had been recovered from the bag of the student on May 19.

After drinking the liquid, some girl students fainted; however, all were in stable condition, the FIR said.

The administrator of the school lodged an FIR with the Sadiqabad police stating that she was on duty on Tuesday when three men and two women and the student entered her office at about 8.40am.

The student allegedly attacked her, tore her clothes and injured her in the neck. The others started damaging the school furniture and hurled threats of dire consequences on the administrator.

She said in the FIR that on May 19 a knife and a plastic bottle had been recovered from the bag of the student. She had offered the drink to some students who after drinking it fell unconscious, she alleged.

She said the school administration called the girl’s parents and informed them about it, which provoked them, leading to the attack on the school.

On the other hand, a police spokesman said following the complaint by the school administration, an FIR was registered and the suspects would be detained.

However, the spokesman said that according to police investigation no evidence of use of narcotics in the school was found.
