GWADAR / KHUZDAR: Two bullet-riddled bodies were recovered on Wednesday from the Buleda area of Kech district and Naal tehsil of Khuzdar district, officials said.

According to Levies officials, residents informed the local administration about the presence of a body in Buleda. The Levies force reached the site and shifted the body to a hospital. The victim was identified as Abu Bakar, a resident of Buleda.

“Multiple bullet wounds were found on his body which caused his death,” the officials said, quoting doctors at the hospital.

After the completion of medico-legal formalities, the body was handed over to the family. An investigation into the killing is underway.

In a separate incident in Naal tehsil, locals discovered a body in an abandoned area and alerted the Levies force. The Levies officials said the deceased was identified as Farooq Ahmed, son of Noor Ahmed Mirajee Mengal, the senior vice president of the Balochistan National Party (BNP) Khuzdar.

“The deceased had also received multiple bullet injuries which resulted in his death,” the officials said, adding that Ahmed had been missing for the past 24 hours.

His body was shifted to the district hospital and later handed over to his family. According to officials, investigation has been launched into the killing.
